Pair Arts & Crafts Bronze Candle Lamps w/ Blue Glass Chimneys
Exceptional pair of quite heavy bronze candle lamps with what appear to be hand blown glass hemispheres set into each of four sides, and lovely blue hand blown glass chimneys with bronze collars at their bases. Inside the bronze bases are ceramic cylinders, each of which is sprung inside to push the burning candle higher. The craftsmanship on the lamps is exceptional. They re unsigned, but clearly the product of hand craftsmanship during the Arts & Crafts era.
Size: 14 inches tall each, with the bases each being 5 1/4 by 5 1/4 inches.

Large Blackened Bronze Chinese Lantern with Dragon Motifs
Large and extremely ornate and handsome bronze lantern, probably meant for a garden. It is of very high quality and outstanding workmanship, with a three-dimensional dragon winding around the center, and pierced panels with dragons in them to let the light out. The upper part of the shade has up-turned ends like a pagoda, the ends being in the shape of dolphins with their tails raised, with bells dangling below them. The very top of the lantern is a bronze finial in the form of flames rising up. The entire piece has a dark patina, with the exception of bright brass bells dangling below the dolphin ends to the upper shade. There is a hinged door on one side, and the lantern has been electrified.
Size: 67 inches tall, and 24 inches across.

19th Century Carved Black Forest Spaniel's Head Mirror & Coatrack
Large diamond shaped blackened oak framed beveled mirror with a 3-dimensional spaniel's head protruding at the top carved in the 19th century. There are 5 brass hanging pegs for coats on the lower two sides. The spaniel has fully separate and handsomely carved ears, and his mouth is slightly open in a smile, with his tongue protruding slightly. The frame is beautifully carved, and the piece is a masterwork of Black Forest craftsmanship.
Size: 16 inches on each side, with the dog's head 9 inches long.

Tallin No. 20 Large Brass Lantern w/ Brass Reflector & Iron Snap Press
A very handsome brass lantern with bullseye type reflector by the Tallin Company of St. Louis, Missouri. It is their model No. 20, and has a fine frosted glass chimney. Along with that is an iron eyelet and snap press by the Challenge Company of Bennington, Vermont, It is black painted with gold painted decoration.
Size: Lantern is 15 inches tall and the bullseye is 11 inches across. The press is 12 1/2 inches tall.

G. Scott, Oxford, 19th Century Stick Barometer
A very fine 19th century aneroid stick barometer on a mahogany base with brass fittings and celluloid plate at the top with the readings engrved on it. It was made by G. Scott, who was perhaps the most renowned British manufacturer of scientific instruments in the 19th century, with shops in England and Scotland.
Size: 37 inches long and 4 inches wide.

10 Limited Edition Plates w/ Kittens from 4 Different Series.
Limited Edition kitten plates from 4 different series: 2 sandwich sized plates with gold rims, one pink, the other yellow, both from the "Petals & Purrs" plate collection by Bob Harrison of the Hamilton Collection. One is number 2692G and the other is 4420A. The other five are by Royal Cornwall, Ltd. from their "Kitten's World" series, all numbers 6657 of a limited edition of 27,500. Each plate shows a kitten at play, one with a butterfly, one with a catnip mouse, etc., and each plate has a silver rim.
2 gold rimmed plates by Royal Worcester for The Hamilton Collection, from the second issue of their Kitten Classics series from 1985. They are "Purrfect Treasure," and "Country Kitty."
The last plate is a single made in Japan by Takahashi Ltd., and imported through San Francisco by Cathy Co., and shows a cat recling among flowers. It has a scalloped edge and a gold rim.
The "Petals & Purrs" plates are 8 3/8 inches across. The "Kitten's World" plates are 9 1/8 inches across. The Royal Worcester plates are 8 inches across. The single plate is 7 1/2 inches across.

Large Rockingham Glaze "Souter Johnnie" Character Jug
Large and early Rockingham glazed ceramic character jug of "Souter Johnnie," a character from the poetry and stories of Robert Burns. The jug was probably made in Yorkshire about 1840, and has the distinctive dark reddish-brown glaze associated with Rockingham ware. It shows a jolly, round-face man in a cloth cap, wearing a bow-tied cravat and coat. It has a sturdy handle and poring spout on the side. It is extremely well sculpted.

Two Fine Decorative Lidded Steins, One Oak, the other Ceramic
Two extremely handsome stein with hinged lids: An American made oak stein with quadruple plated pewter lid, base, handle and flowering vines that spiral around the stein's body. It is marked inside the lid by the St. Louis Silver Company, and may have been made for one of the area's German societies. The inside is entirely lined with quadruple silver plated pewter.
The second stein is a large but classic German design brightly colored ceramic stein with scenes of Bavarian dressed hunters, a barmaid, and a dog, as well as scenes of the countryside. It has two German mottoes on it: "Sprich was wahr ist Lieb was rur ist," and " Trink was klar ist, Ib was gar ist." They translate as "Speak what is true, and Drink what is clear, eat what is ready."
Size: The wooden stein is 11 inches tall and 5 1/4 inches across the base. The ceramic stein is 13 inches tall and 5 1/4 inches across the base.

Villeroy & Boch Mettlach Lidded Ewer & w/ German Authors & Tall German Stein
Two German lidded vessels, one a spectacular lidded ewer by Villeroy & Boch of Mettlach. It is in blue and white with a pewter and ceramic lid, and has blue cameos of great German artists, including Durer, Jamnitzer, Kraft, Vischer, and Stoss. The entire body of the ewer is covered with twined designs and classical pillars.
The second stein is very tall, with a scene from about 1800 of a lady and gentleman, young man and dog, and waitresses at a wine garden, with the motto, "Wie nah und doch wie weit, wie weit, liegt sie die gute, alte Zeit!" Also towards the top, "Nach Des Tages Scweiss," and towards the bottom, "Den Kuhlen Trunk Ich Preis!" The first translates as "How near and yet how far are the good old days!" The second translates as "After the day in Switzerland." The bottom motto translates as "The cool drink I prize!"
Size: The ewer is 13 1/2 inches tall and 5 inches across at the base. The stein is 15 inches tall and 6 inches at the base.

Two Glass Steins with Lids, One W/ Lady Bicyclists
Two very fine glass steins with pewter lids. The first has beautifully etched glass showing two birds in a bush with leaves and berries. The pewter lid has a facetted diamiond shaped piece of glass in it that gives a kaleidoscope effect when looked through.The second stein is of similar manufacture but has a scene on it of three ladies, circa 1900, on bicycles, laughing as they ride. They are in delightful 1900s bicycling costumes. The stein has a similar kaleidoscope lid.
Size: the first is 6 1/4 inches tall with a 3 1/2 inch base. The second is 6 1/4 inches tall with a 3 1/2 inch base.

Arm Chair with Sliding Tray on Brass Rail
A very interesting arm chair with a sliding wooden tray on a brass rail that folds down when not in use, but when lifted and slid becomes a tray for alcohol or smoking paraphernalia. The chair has elegantly curved arms, a low back, spindle legs. The seat has been recovered in brown Naugahyde. The chair has four casters. The chair appears to date from the 1930s.

Two Large German Steins / Ewers W/ Blue Decoration
Two large steins with blue on cream decoration:
A large jug or stein with hunters pursuing savage boars, one hunter on horseback with spear, the other on foot with spear. The boars are especially vicious looking, with hounds attacking them, as well as the hunters. The lid is pewter, and the stein has a pouring lip.
The second stein has scenes of Germanic tribes at war with Romans among trees. The trees re colored brown with green foiliage..The lid is topped by a seated king holding a sword in one hand and a drinking cup in the other. Above the handle is stamped "3L" which stands for 3 liters. The lid is not attached to the handle, but just rests atop the stein.
Size: The first item is 14 inches tall with the base being 4 inches across. The second is 17 1/2 inches tall and the base is 5 1/2 inches across.

Bronze Statue of a Dancer w/ Brightly Painted Clothes.
Bronze statue of a woman dancing, standing on one leg, with one arm holding the train of her dress, the other thrust towards the heavens. She may have been gilded, and her dress is brightly colored, beginning with pink at her shoulder and shading to darker and darker shades of red at the bottom. Her face wears an expression of ecstasy. Her hair is very detailed. Her base is in the shape of a cross with a raised circular center. There appear to be markings on the base, but they are so faint as to be illegible.

Pair of Matched Mahogany Plant Stands w/ Drawers ca. 1900
Pair of extremely well-made and handsome late Victorian or early 20th century plant stands with three legs each, two drawers each, and two levels for plants or statues. They appear to be mahogany, and the round top rests on spiral carved arms. The shelves are at the bases of the spiral carved sections, The triangular drawers have single dovetails at their backs. There is a second shelf just above the feet of the stand, each with a recess to hold a planter or other decorative item.

Italian Ceramic Lamp of Woman & Iris with Ceramic Shade
Peculiar but beautifully done lamp with a woman in a pink gown who is growing out of an iris, or perhaps has an iris growing out of her? The stem of the flower runs up the front of her dress and the flower itself seems to spring from the area of her heart, while she looks on with raised hands, and a look of pleasure on her face, or perhaps she is blowing on the flower? The petals of the flower form the lamp shade, with the bulb in the center. The lamp is marked in Italian on the bottom, part of which is limited edition, and hand made, as well as Italia.

Four Antique Door Stops in Various Forms
Four heavy door stops, two cast iron and painted, two in brass.
One cast iron stop is a rooster crowing, with red comb and wattle, and white and green paint on its body. The second iron stop is a basket of painted flowers on a plinth, the basket painted gold, the flowers painted in life-like colors. One of the brass stops is a kitten with a bow on its neck, marked Solid Brass, Made in Taiwan. The last is brass in the shape of a bell with a long handle. It has a large iron weight inside the body of the bell.
Sizes: The rooster stands 12 1/2 inches tall. The basket of flowers stands 9 1/2 inches tall. The kitten is 7 1/2 inches tall. The bell is 14 3/4 inches tall.

4 Gilt Framed Enamel Paintings of Putti
Four gilt framed enamel paintings of putti and children at play. Two are in matching oval gilt frames, one showing three putti playing with a head wreath and an arrow, the other showing similar three putti with a larger wreath looking down from the sky with clouds in the shape of Europe nd Africa behind them. The other two paintings are framed together in a wood and gilt frame and show the same or similar outti in two scenes: one huddled around a campfire, the other a putti sleeping while another stands guard.

Bronze Owl Inkwell & 6 Decorative Owls
Extremely finely made bronze inkwell on a wooden base in the form of an owl's head with glass eyes. It is very well done with outstanding detail to the feathers and beak. The glass inset is missing, but the hinge works perfectly. European Feather Fan with Tortoise Shell & Silver Mongram in Gilt Frame
Magnificent iridescent colored feather fan on tortoise shell shafts with a black case with silver initials and silk tassels. Black Sequined Fan w/ Inlaid base in Walnut Veneer Shadow Box Frame.
Superb black with deep red tones silk fan embroidered with silver sequins in different sizes and shapes forming ornate patterns on the silk. Carved Wooden Cased 19th Century Wall Clock w/ Round Face
Antique wall clock with a handsomely carved wooden surround of branches, leaves, and berries on what appears to be a shelf but is actually an integral part of the clock. The clock has a round face painted gold with black Roman numerals.
