Two Iron Wall Stands with 8 Fine Asian Vases
Two well-made iron wall stands, each with four shelves, with fine Asian covered vases of various designs on each shelf. The stands are 50 inches tall. The vases vary slightly. The bottom vases on each stand are white with blue designs; the second shelves hold vases with pink backgrounds, one with peonies, the other with Chinese scenes, resembling cloisonne; the third shelf on the left holds a vase with a pink dragon on a tan background, while the vase on the right has a cherry tree in blossom on a blue background; the top vases are a matched pair with sea green backgroaunds, with interesting designs of tables, vases, and flowers. Three Ceramic Sculptures: Two Borzoi Hounds and a Very Fine Cat.
Three very fine ceramic figures of animals: two of Borzoi hounds, and one of a white Persian cat. Tow of the pieces, the cat and the larger dog are marked by a Viennese pottery. The third, the smaller dog is unmarked. The larger dog is very elegant, and finely painted with his mrlings in shades of black and smoky gray. The smaller dog is less elegant, but nicely painted in brown and white. The cat is white with blue eyes and a pink tongue. The larger Borzoi is marked 1009 with a combination of letters resembling VSP. The cat is marked similarly with an L, the numbers 1646, and Vien.
Size: The larger Borzoi is 5 1/2 inches tall by 10 inches wide. The smaller Borzoi is 4 inches tall by 7 1/2 inches wide. The cat is 2 1/2 inches tall by 5 1/4 inches wide.

Bronze Sculpture: Scene of Dionysus with Ram by Clodion
Exceptional bronze sculpture of scene of a young Dionysus, god of wine and madness, lifting a cup to the sky, with a ram rearing over him. The sculpture is extremely finely done, and very detailed. It is signed on the back by Clodion, a French sculptor who lived from 1738 to 1814, and is known as the best exemplar of French rococo style. The sculpture is mounted on a heavy gray marble base.

A very fine statue of Napoleon Bonaparte in Egypt riding a camel, from the Campaign of 1799. The figure is spelter in the white, and is well detailed, showing Napoleon holding a telescope, with a saber by his side. The reins of the camel have been replaced with bright wire that should be replaced.

2 Small Bronze Figures of Girls on Marble Bases.
Two very attractive small sculptures of young girls, both in bronze, mounted on marble bases. The first is a girl in pigtails, in her frock, standing looking down. The base is a pinkish marble. The second piece is a girl in a bonnet with a basket on her arm, holding a small bowl, with a kitten standing apart from her, also on a pink marble base with a bowl carved into it for holding keys and miscellaneous items.
Size: The first figure stands 7 1/2 inches high on her base. The second figure is 6 inches tall and 9 inches wide.

Ornate Mantle Clock with Ormulu Decorated Case
A very handsome and ornate mantle clock in a black wooden case with ormulu decoration. The metal face included dials with adjustment levers for the Westminter chimes, the hour chimes, and for adjusting the cock's speed. The rear of the clock has a pierced screen door that opens to the back of the works and the springs. There are no visible markings to be seen, inside or out, but the clock appears to be about 100 years old. It stands on four ornate gold colored metal feet, and the top has a gold colored spire. The face of the clock is gold colored with Roman numerals.
Size: 28 inches tall and 16 inches wide and 11 inches deep.

Two Large Asian Chargers on Matching Teak Stands
Two large and very fine Japanese made ceramic chargers/ platters each different, but of similar size, each standing on matched carved teak stands. The first is bronze colored with ochre rims, covered with flying cranes. There is a Japanese chop on the reverse. Size: 16 inches across.
The second platter is also Japanese, and has Japan stamped on the reverse. It has two brightly colored birds standing on branches of a flowering bush. It has a black background and a white rim.
The stands are very handsome with uopper edges that hold the rims of the platters securely.

4 Colima Earthenware Animalistic Sculptures of Pre-Columbian Form
Four very finely made copies of Colima pre-Columbian earthenware sculptures, and well-fired. The first is a tan dog, sitting on her hind quarters, with a short curled tail, looking slightly upward with her mouth open. It is a direct copy of a well-known piece that is currently in a museum. Size: 9 1/2 inches tall.
A statue of a musician, seated, wearing a conical hat, playing an instrument that resembles an ocarina. He is well fired, with a reddish color and a speckled finish. Size: 10 3/4 inches.
Ewer in the form of a dog with a vase-like opening in its back, and visible ridges along its spine. The dog's head is turned backward and its tail is raised. It is ocher colored with a speckled finish. Size: 9 1/2 inches tall.
Pitcher in the form of a stylized duck, with squared off bill, and webbed feet and short squared off wings. Size: 10 1/2 inches.
All four items are extremely well made, and are direct copies of known museum pieces.

A wooden shield, possibly oak, with medieval style weapons and armor on it, probably modern Spanish. made. The weapons include a hand axe with spiked top, a mace, two daggers- a jambiya and a European style dagger, and an armored gorget.. At the top is a partisan head with flamboyant blade whose point extends beyond the top of the shield. The weapons are modern, but are well-made and full-sized. Framed 19th Century Circular Oil Painting of American Bald Eagle
An exceptionally handsome 19th century circular American slightly primitive style Bald Eagle seated on a branch with spread wings and fiercely turned head with glaring eyes. It is painted on board, one of which is separating, causing a crack through the painting. The eagle is painted in life-like colors and is standing against a blue sky. The frame is wood painted gilt. This is clearly intended as a patriotic piece, meant to hang with either signs, or above a patriotic assembly. The frame is 24 inches across, and the painting is 20 inches across.

Pair of Larry Toschik Limited Edition Bird Plates & a Brass Eagle
A pair of Larry Toschik limited edition plates, of a series entitled "Prowlers of the Clouds." One is a Great Horned Owl, number 334 out of a series of 5000, made in 1981, with a gold rim. The other is a Screech Owl, number 973 of a series of 5000 in the same series, and same size. There is also a modern made brass spread-winged eagle, preparing to stoop on its prey. Both plates are on iron wall stands that are included.
Sizes: The plates are 10 1/4 inches across each. The eagle is 8 inches tall. and 22 inches across full wingspan.

Pair of Chalkware "Ivorex" Plaques by Arthur Osborne with 19th Domestic Century Scenes
Two very fine plaster "chalk ware" plaques, by Arthur Osborne of Kent, in England in the early 1900s. They are of early 19th century domesti scenes. One shows two women seated with a cat at their feet by a kitchen fire with pots hanging over the flames. It is entitled "A Friendly Call. The other shows a couple seated in their parlor, the man smoking a clay pipe, woman drinking a cup of tea. There is a dog lying at their feet. It is entitled "The Old Folks at Home." They are both stamped "AO" for Arthur Osborne, who created these by hand. The reverses are stamped with the artist's name, Copyright, and Made in England.. Size: 6 1/2 by 9 1/2 inches.

Bronze Lamp with Pink Tulip Shaped Glass Shades of a Tiffany Style
Very fine early 20th century bronze lamp in the shape of a flowering plant with four marbled pink glass blossoms, two of which are open forming lamp shades. The other two blossoms are also formed of marbled pink glass, but are closed. The lamp is patinated dark bronze, and exceptionally well sculpted. Large Asian Vase with Brass Decorations
A very large and handsome Asian, probably Chinese metal vase with teal and blue backgrounds, painted with scenes of a Taoist god and musicians and dancers in a garden. There are added brass decorations including a Foo dog on the top of the lid, and lions with dangling rings projecting out of the cardinal points as handles. Early Brass Lantern Clock ca. 1660
Early brass lantern clock, possibly English, circa 1650, with Roman Numeral face with iron hands, one of which is broken. It operates through a pendulum and a series of two weights with pullies. Chinese Carved Wooden Statue of Louxing
Exceptionally nice carved wooden statue of an old man, possibly the god Louxing, the Chinese god of longevity. The carving is exceptional and very detailed, with a child crouching at the god's feet, and the god holding a branch with dangling fruits, which could represent the fruits of wisdom gained through a long life. The statue is carved out of reddish wood, possibly mahogany. Size: 24 inches tall.

Pair of Brass Bound Cedar Asian Chests
Matched pair of probably Chinese brass bound cedar trunks, currently being used as end tables. They each have two doors above a wide outer drawer, and three drawers alongside a storage space inside. The fittings are very well made, and are all engraved. There are brass hinged grips at either end, and they have loose Lucite tops to protect them.
