French Bisque Porcelain Figures of Gentleman & Maiden
A very attractive and tall pair of porcelain figures in the 18th century style, probably French with an "N" mark on each base, along with numbered 23/466 on each base. One figure is of a gentleman in flowered vest and breeches, wearing a pink coat, holding a tricorne hat and shyly offering his hand to the maiden. The maiden is wearing a flowered dress with a pink a pink over dress.. She has on a straw bonnet that has fallen on its ribbon to her shoulder. She is holding a rose presumably given her by the gentleman. They are on matching round white and gilt bases.
Size: the gentleman is 16 inches tall. The maiden is 15 inches tall.

Three Small Framed Paintings, an Odalisque, a Child, and a Rose.
Three small framed paintings: A lovely small painting of an odalisque reading a book, lying down in a woodland setting, with a green cloak over her back. It is in a rectangular wooden and gilt frame, under glass, and may be a very fine print. A small oil painting of two children fresh from their bath, standing in front of a fireplace warming themselves. It is in an ornate gilded wooden frame. On the reverse is a label in French reading "Apres le bain." A very fine oil painting of a pink rose, on board, signed by Zaven Melik, S.N. The painting is round in a square wooden frame. Zaven Melik was a New York artist in the 1930s.
Sizes: The Odalisque painting is 5 3/8 by 7 3/4 inches. The painting of the children is 8 1/2 by 6 1/2 inches. The painting of the rose is 9 inches square.

Carved Wooden Panel of a Winged Putti Holding Fruit Branches, Framed
A brilliantly carved panel in oak of a putti standing upright and holding branches of a fruit tree, possibly a pomegranate. He is wearing a toga-like wrap, and has butterfly wings. He stands on a small plinth, surrounded by curved and curling designs. He is in a wooden frame with gilt edging in a Byzantine pattern. He is very high relief, being nearly 3-dimensional, standing out from the panel 1 3/4 inches. The carving is of exceptional quality. It is unsigned.
Size: in the frame: 26 inches high and 18 inches wide. The panel itself is 20 inches high and 12 inches wide.

9 Decorative Glass & Ceramic Toiletry Bottles
Nine decorative bottles: two ceramic bottles with ceramic topped corks, one labeled "Witch Hazel," the other "Toilet Water." They are nicely painted with flowers. A boxed grouping of five glass bottles in graduated sizes with glass stoppers, one of which is broken but present. They are painted with daisies. Two pink glass bottles, one taller with a swirled pattern around it, the other squat with pink flowers with glass bubbles. The latter is stamped St. Clair on the bottom.
Sizes: The ceramic bottles are 10 3/4 inches tall. The wooden box of bottles are between 4 1/2 and 5 3/4 inches, and the box is 9 3/4 inches long, and the base is 1/4 inch tall.

Federal Style Lingerie Chest w/ 6 Drawers with Fold-Down Fronts
Outstanding, well made and handsome mahogany lingerie chest in the Federal style with 6 drawers. The front of each drawer folds down for easy access, and to prevent snags.The drawers are also mahogany, hand dovetailed in the rear. It stands on four legs that are handsomely made, and there are lighter wood inlays on the top, legs, and drawers. The chest probably dates from the 1920s.

Quite large framed oval pastel in a 17th century French baroque style by of Venus, semi-clad in the clouds with Eros and a putti. It is signed by Boucher, but is certainly not by the original artist, although the style is similar. It is in a gilt wood frame and under glass.

3 Antique Beveled Mirrors on Velvet Backings
Three very fine smaller mirrors, each with beveled glass, all three on burgundy velvet backings, two with gilt metal frames. The first mirror is rectangular molded glass with a border of raised hemispheres and a glass shelf at the bottom. The other two mirrors are a pair, elongated oval mirrors in gilt brass frames, with a pair of brass sockets at one end. All three of the mirrors have some age to them, and probably date from the 1800s.
Sizes: The rectangular mirror is 11 1/2 by 8 1/2 inches, the mirror being 9 1/2 by 6. The oval mirrors are 15 1/2 inches high by 9 inches overall with the actual mirrors being 12 3/4 by 6 1/4 with v=brass flaming grenades at the midpoint on the sides.

Brass Oil Lamp with Pink Frosted Glass Painted Shade
An extremely fine oil or kerosene lamp that has been electrified. It has a pink frosted glass shade that has been painted with a scene of puttis. There is a hurricane shade inside the larger round frosted glass shade. The oil burning parts are intact, but there is a n old electric conversion.
Size: 22 1/2 inches tall. The frosted glass ids 8 1/2 inches wide.

Four large display "factice" perfume display bottles for French perfumes: a large pink glass "Dali" factice in the shape of a nose and a pair of lips, free standing. They are very well sculpted, A Dalistyle factice display bottle that is a frosted blue glass female torso with no arms and a head that is a bouquet of roses.The Dalistyle bottle is 16 inches tall and 4 inches wide at the base. The Tilleul bottle has an atomizer top, and has a crest on the base identifying it as French made. It is clear glass in a rectangular shape with dished sides. The third bottle is Julio Iglesias and is a half cylinder with decorative graduations and a large plastic curved rectangular top with Julio Iglesias on it.
Sizes: Dali is 12 inches tall and 10 inches wide. Tilleul is 8 3/4 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches wide. Iglesias is 8 inches tall and 11 1/2 inches wide.

The Clarins bottle is quite heavy glass in the shape of a flat topped oval with a gold colored band around its middle with the name "Clarins" on it. The Geoffrey Bean bottle is a frosted glass globe with a smaller hemisphere projecting out of it, with the name Geoffrey Beene on it. The Armani bottle is green frosted b=glass wirh black plastic top and Armani running vertically down the front. Three Large Older Perfume Bottles: Rose Water, Guerlain, and D'Orsay
A large etched glass Rose Water bottle with beautifully etched designs including a Greek Key design on the back and "Rose Water" on the other. A large Guerlain vottle of molded glass with Imperial Bees on the body, a large crest over "Champs Elysee" on one side and the remnants of a paper label on the other. The Bee is a symbol of Napoleon I, so this bottle may be fairly old. The third bottle is a Cologne D'Orsay factice bottle probably from the 1930s. It is rectangular with paper labels.
Size: The Rose Water bottle is 15 1/4 inches and 6 inches wide. The Guerlain bottle is 12 1/2 inches by 5 inches wide. The D'Orsay bottle is 7 inches tall by 6 inches tall.

Five Partial Bottles of French Perfume: Animale, Ocean Dream, Bill Blass, Tilleul, and Gucci
Interesting bottle of "Animale" perfume in a heavy glass bottle with a stylized lightning bolt down both sides, and a glass top of unusual form. THe bottle is clear frosted glass and is about half full. A bottle of Ocean Dream by Giorgio Beverly Hills, in a small light blue bottle with pewter wire holding a small real pearl on one side. It is also about half full. The Bill Blass bottle is tiny and is about completely full. The Tilleul bottle is square with dished sides and a plastic top and appears completely full. The Gucci bottle is square with a round plastic top and has a small amount of perfume remaining.

Oak Church Poor Box or Alms Box with Lock & Key
A very handsome iron bound oak "Poor Box" or Alms Box complete with lock and key. It is meant to hang on a church wall and has a cross shaped iron plaque on the top with cross slots for coins and possibly bills. The brass lock on the front is stamped Made in England and Second Lever. It also has brass hinges, but the other mounts are all blackened iron. The top has a hasp for an additional padlock.Circa 1900.10

3 Hand-Painted Luster Candle Holders with Glass Pendants
Three very handsome "Luster" ornamental glass candle holders from the late Victorian era.
A superb glass Luster Candle Holder in pink & white, hand painted with flowers and leaves, with 10 leaded glass or crystal prisms hanging from the shade. The entire body of the piece is pink on the outside, and white on the inside, strongly resembling fine porcelain. the pendant prisms chime pleasantly when moved.
The other two are a matched pair, slightly taller and somewhat more elegant than the first, with slender waists rising to a beautifully and very ornately painted tops. Each holder has 10 prisms each.
Size: Each luster holder is 14 inches tall and 5 inches wide at the base.

Large rectangular gilt painted chalkware plaque showing two mermaids flanking a Lion of St, Mark, along with 6 plaster ornamental wall units for holding small or decorative items. One pair of shelves has cherubs forming the bases. Four of the shelves are painted gold, while two are larger and are painted black and gold with wooden shelves at their tops.

Oak Wooden Desk Shelf Unite By Zellerbach Paper of San Francisco
Oak antique desk unit with four slots for files or papers and four compartments for smaller items along with a large drawer with brass pull. There is a large sticker for Zellerbach Paper Company in San Francisco on the drawer, along with a label that says that the unit is "Loaned by Zellerbach Paper Company." The Zellerbach Paper Company was started in 1870 by Anthony Zellerbach, a Jewish immigrant from Bavaria.

There is a small bulb on a bronze mount behind the glass. This is relatively modern, while the two prints are older.

Large Antique Oak Filing Cabinet w/ 45 Drawers
A large and massive antique oak filing cabinet with 45 drawers, probably dating from about 1880. Each drawer has a small metal frame for a label and a brass drawer pull. The drawer interiors are of ash. The interior sides of the drawers are slanted for easier access to the files within. The front of the cabinet has tongue & groove fastening to the wood, while the back has rabbet joints.The consignor added plastic liners at some time in the past. The top of the cabinet has old painted words on it suggesting an origin in the shipping industry.

Large Antique Storage Cabinet w Decorative Tin Panels in Door
Handsome large antique cabinet in pine, possibly Spanish colonial, with two doors, each of which is fitted with a large decorative tin panel set into the doors. There are four drawers below the doors. There are four large shelves within, plus two smaller shelves set back above two of the larger shelves. The tin panels are repousse stamped with medallions of flower-like shapes and lines, all very well-done. The doors have brass escutcheon panels with locks and a key, which work well. The hinges are brass. There cabinet has a large flared cornice at the top.
