Two Case XX Bowie Knives & Sheaths, Mint in Boxes
Two brand new condition Case XX bowie knives & sheaths, mint in their original boxes:
A Case XX Bowie Knife & All Purpose Hunter with black plastic grips, brass guard and a brass blade catcher along the back of the blade, with a picture of a frontiersman in a racoon skin cap on the blade. The sheath is basket weave patterned black leather. The blade is stamped CASE XX USA 1836 on the ricasso, and is identical to the bowie knives Case made for servicemen during WWII and Vietnam. Size: 14 1/2 inches with a 9 1/2 inch blade.
A similar Case XX bowie knife in a presentation style velvet flocked box with Jim Bowie on the box top. The blade is stamped CASE XX USA BOWIE on the ricasso. The knife has a white plastic grip and gold plated guard, and brown basket weave patterned sheath. Size: 14 1/2 inches long with a 9 1/2 inch blade.
