Three (3) Sixth Plate Daguerreotypes of Formally Dressed Men
Three daguerreotype portraits of men from the 1840s, all three in formal attire, with stocks. The first with pale skin and wavy hair and mutton-chop sideburns, wearing a black suit. The second image is a slightly older man wearing a dark coat, white vest, and print stock. The third image is of an upright man holding a large book with his thumb between the pages. He has wavy hair, and is wearing a dark coat with a stock. All three images are in plain oval brass mattes in half leather cases.
Dimensions: Sixth plate images, 3 5/8 tall by 3 1/8 inches wide

Condition:The images are all quite clear. The second image has some minor deterioration at the bottom of the image. The cases are all half cases, and show wear. Please see photos.
