Two (2) Sixth Plate Daguerreotypes of Sisters
Two sixth plate daguerreotypes of sisters in matching outfits: one of two sisters, and the other of three sisters. The two sisters are in very similar dresses, with similar hair, but different details and adornments. The three sisters are even more similar. Including similarly dressed hair. The two sister’s image is in a squared oval matte with ornate keeper, in a half leather case. The three sisters are mounted horizontally, in a scalloped matte with an ornate keeper also in a half leather case.
Dimensions: Sixth plate images, 3 5/8 tall by 3 1/8 inches wide
