Three (3) Sixth Plate Daguerreotypes in Full Cases
Three daguerreotypes in full leather cases. The first is a very pretty young woman leaning towards a table on which a large book rests. She has wavy hair and is wearing a very large neck band with a brooch in the center, and a chatelaine is visible at her waist. The second woman is quite an early image, wearing a black dress, and has her arm on a table with a large book on it. The third image is of a very attractive young couple, seated. The woman is wearing a satin dress with three bows on the front. She has a large cameo at her throat. The man is formally dressed with a chin beard. There are in an oval matte, and the image is mounted horizontally. The full cases are all intact with solid hinges.
Dimensions: Sixth plate images, 3 5/8 tall by 3 1/8 inches wide

Condition:The first image is excellent with some minor scuffs on the case. The second image is very good plus. The third image has some minor stains on the plate, but not affecting the subjects. Please see photos.
