Three (3) Sixth Plate Daguerreotype Family Images
Three sixth plate daguerreotype image of family units. One is of two young brothers side by side, the taller with his arm on the smaller one’s shoulders. It is in an oval matte and has a complete leather case. The second is a husband and wife, the wife wearing just one glove, possibly to show her wedding ring. It is also in a leather case with two halves. The third image is a mother, father, and little boy on the father’s lap. The wife has a folded fan. It is in a leather half case.
Size: Sixth plate images, 3 5/8 tall by 3 1/8 inches wide

Condition:The first image is truly excellent, with a worn case. The second image is very slightly faded, and the case halves do not match. The third image may have been cleaned but is very good in a half leather case. Please see photos.
