Four (4) Sixth Plate Daguerreotypes of Young Men
Four very fine sixth plate daguerreotypes of young men in formal attire, all in leather half cases. Two are clearly from the 1840s, and two probably from the 1850s. Two have watch chains. Two are on fine scalloped mattes, two have oval mattes. All are in leather half cases.
Size: Sixth plate images, 3 5/8 tall by 3 1/8 inches wide
Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $30.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Discounts given on combined lot shipping.
Condition:The first image has spotting but is still clear. The others are very good and better. The leather half cases all show wear. Please see photos.
