Five (5) Sixth Plate Daguerreotypes
Four very fine sixth plate daguerreotypes of well-to-do men and women all in half leather cases, and a sixth plate daguerreotype of a little girl in a full case. Two of ladies are in scalloped mattes; two of gentlemen are in oval mattes. All are very sharp and clear images. The child is in a scalloped matte, and is in a full leather case with silk pad.
Size: Sixth plate images, 3 5/8 tall by 3 1/8 inches wide
Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $30.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Discounts given on combined lot shipping.
Condition:The daguerreotypes are all about excellent. The images of the two ladies each have some very minor spotting. The half cases are very good, all showing minor wear. The case for the image of the little girl has a split hinge. Please see photos.
