An early daguerreotype portrait of an older gentleman in an extremely high collar rising above his jaw. He is wearing a coat, starched shirt front, and cravat. The image appears to have been xleaned, and is somewhat faded. It is in a gold colored matte in a somewhat tattered leatherette case. Despite having been cleaned, the image remains fairly clear. It measures 2 by 2 3/8 inches. A faded daguerreotype image of a woman in a gold colored matte, not in a cse. The image measures 2 by 2 3/8 inches. A handsome but faded daguerreotype image of a man in a beautifully patterned vest and wide cravat. The image is in a good colored matte in half of a leatherette case. It measures 2 by 2 3/8 inches. A very faded and dark daguerreotype portrait of a woman wearing drop earrings, a dark dress, and a white collar. The image is in a gold colored matte in a leatherette diary style case with a separated hinge. The image measures 2 by 2 3/8 inches. A very attractive daguerreotype portrait of a mother and her daughter, wearing matching dresses and scarves. The mother is holding an open book. The image is faded, but details can be discerned. It is in a gold colored matte in a half of a leatherette case. The image measures 2 ¾ by 3 ¼ inches. A very dark and faded daguerreotype portrait of an older woman in a black dress. She appears to be wearing drop earrings and a brooch at her throat. The image is in a gold colored matte in half of a leatherette case. It measures 2 5/8 by 3 1/8 inches. An identified and very clear daguerreotype portrait of an older woman, probably a grandmother, and a young child. The woman is wearing a black dress with a white collar. The child is leaning against the woman, and is wearing a dress with a ribbon at her throat. The image is in a gold matte in a leatherette case with a separated hinge. There is a label on the pad that identifies them s Dorcas Hayes Tompson and Sarah Hobart Tompson (sic). It measures 2 5/8 by 3 ¼ inches. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $30.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.
