Five Tintypes and Ambrotypes in Union Cases

A very fine painted tintype of little girl in a pink dress, seated in a chair. It is extremely sharp and clear in a fine oval gold colored matte in a Union case with an oval center among florals. The image is 1 7/8 by 2 ¼ inches. Both image and case are in excellent condition. A superb tintype image of a young man with a moustache in suit, vest and cravat. The image is exceptionally sharp and clear. It is in an oval matte and is contained in an extremely nice Critchlow Union case with floral design. The image is 1 7/8 by 2 3/8 inches. The case is very nice, but the hinges are a little loose. Exceptionally nice small tintype portrait of a young woman, possibly in mourning, in an oval matte in a very fine small Union case by Littlefield & Parsons. It is excellent, but is missing its velvet pad. The image is 1 3/8 by 1 ½ inches. The case is an extremely nice floral design with a small chip at the hasp. A nice paper image of a young boy in an ornate gold colored matte in a fine Littlefield & Parsons Union case. The image appears to be trimmed down from a cabinet card or CDV. The case is in a floral pattern and is excellent. The image measures 1 7/8 by 2 ¼, and is missing its velvet pad. A superb ambrotype portrait of a young woman with ribbons in her hair and a painted brooch at her throat. It is in an ornate gold colored oval matte in half of a Littlefield & Parsons Union case with a floral design. The image measures 1 7/8 by 2 ¼ inches, and image and half case are excellent. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $30.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.

Condition:

The images and cases are all as described, with one case having slightly loose hinges, one having a small chip missing at the hasp, and one being only ½ a case.
