Framed Civil War or Earlier Colonel's Epaulettes

A superb pair of Civil War or earlier US Army gilt brush epaulets for a colonel of Artillery. The rank badges are large bullion stars, and the buttons re eagles with the Artillery "A" on their chests. They are framed in a deep shadow box of dark wood, with a velvet backing. Frame dimensions: 17"h x 25"w Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $55.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.

Condition:

We have not examined the backs of the epaulets as the back of the frame is sealed, however they appear to be excellent, and nearly mint.
