Two Small Oval Portraits, One a Silhouette

Two small oval framed portraits, one a silhouette, the other a watercolor. The silhouette is of a man from around 1790, wearing a frock coat and a lace jabot collar. He has longer hair, possibly clubbed. On the reverse is written "From the Riddle Estate." It is in a gilt oval frame. The wood that holds the image in the frame is broken, and it is held together with tape. The second image is smaller, and is a watercolor and ink image of a young man with blond hair, wearing a frock coat and cravat. On the reverse is written 27 years, although the subject looks younger. The oval frame is black wood, and is cracked at about 5:00, although all the parts are intact and in place. Size: The first image is 3 1/4 by 3 inches. The second image is 3 1/2 by 2 3/4 inches. Provenance: Estate of General Joseph McNarney. Processing and shipping in the Continental United States is $30.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.

Condition:

The images are excellent, but both frames are damaged.
