Exceptional Miniature Portrait of Girl, circa 1850

A mixed media portrait of a brown eyed girl, possibly in early adolescence, in a short-sleeved green dress, with a red shawl draped over one arm. She is wearing a necklace, and has a gold ring on one finger of her right hand. Her dark blond hair is down, and she stands next to a pillar with a vine on it. The portrait is in an antiqued gilt wood frame, and has a wooden backing. Size: 5 1/2 by 4 1/4 inches. Provenance: Estate of General Joseph McNarney. Processing and shipping in the Continental United States is $30.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.
