Two (2) Daguerreotypes of Men
Two clear sixth plate daguerreotypes of younger men in fine clothes, both in intact leather cases. One is a teenager wearing a coat and a patterned vest. He is resting one elbow on a table. The matte is octagonal brass and the leather case is excellent. The second image is a man in his twenties in formal wear with a very high collar, and a sateen vest. He is in an oval matte, also in a leather full case.
Dimensions: Both are sixth plate images, 3 5/8 tall by 3 1/8 inches wide
Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $30.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Discounts given on combined lot shipping.
Condition:Both images are excellent, the first being a little pale, but still quite sharp and clear. The leather cases are both very good plus, with intact hinges. Please see photos.
