Three Sets of Pitchers & Bowls, One Set w/ Matching Soap Dish

Three sets of Victorian pitchers and bowls, one with a matching soap dish. A very handsome porcelain three- piece set of pitcher, bowl and matching three piece soap dish in a pinkish hue with green at the rim of the bowl, the handle of the pitcher, and the rim and knob of the soap dish. The pieces are cast with a swirling shell design that morphs into vine designs. The knob on the soap dish is a snail shell. The soap dish is three pieces, a lid, a soap holder with piercings for water to drain, and a bottom bowl to hold it all. All three pieces are very finely made and attractively painted, but they are all unmarked. Sizes: The pitcher is 12 1/4 inches tall and 10 inches wide at the handle. The bowl is 4 5/8 inches deep and 15 3/4 inches wide at the rim. The soap dish is 4 inches tall and 5 1/2 inches wide at the rim. The second set is a bowl and pitcher is pale green, painted in peonies. The pitcher has an elaborate pouring spout and both pieces have gold decorated rims. They are not maker marked, but are numbered on their bases: 2054. Sizes: the pitcher is 11 1/2 inches tall and 10 inches wide at the handle. The bowl is 4 1/2 inches deep and 16 1/2 inches across at the rim. The third set is plain white, with raised decoration of branches on the pitcher alone. The pitcher and bowl are of very slightly different patters, although the colors match. The bowl is marked Anthony Shaw & Son, England, with a Victorian crown and "Opaque Stone China." The pitcher is marked Bontia over V.P. Col. Sizes: The pitcher is 12 inches tall and 11 wide at the handle. The bowl is 4 1/2 inches deep and 15 inches wide at the rim.

Condition:

The set with the soap dish is excellent overall with excellent color.. The second set is very good plus. The gold on the rim of the bowl is scuffed and faded, although it is largely intact on the pitcher. There some minor flaws in the surfaces of both pieces of the second set.

The third set is of pieces of two very slightly different patterns, although they match in color, and are otherwise excellent.
