Three (3) Civil War Army & Navy Tintypes

Three Civil War era tintypes/ferrotypes, two of armed Civil War soldiers and one of a US Navy sailor: A tintype of a Civil War Union infantryman in frock coat with slouch hat, with his musket with bayonet by his side, his cartridge box sling across his chest, and a large oval buckle clearly visible at his waist. He is heavily bearded, and is wearing his trousers with extensive cuffs over private purchase boots. This appears to be a studio photograph, as he is standing on a carpet next to a curtain and short pillar. There is no matte nor keeper (3.75 by 2.5-inches). Ninth plate tintype of a Civil War soldier in what may be an open civilian frock coat, with the butt of a revolver visible at his waist as well as a watch and chain. The image is in a matte with keeper and glass (2.5 by 2-inches). US Navy sailor in dark blue wool uniform with early looking flat cap. He has a white lanyard around his neck, and a white band on one arm. No matte or keeper (4 by 2.25-inches). Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $30.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Discounts given on combined lot shipping.

Condition:

Good. The two images without mattes or keepers have been slightly bent. The image in a keeper has a bit more damage to the picture and keepers. Please see photos.
