Parker Brothers 10 Gauge Double barreled Outside Hammer Shotgun with Ejectors

A very fine Parker Bros. of Meridien, Connecticut 8 gauge double barreled outside hammer shotgun. Serial number 38864, this gun was manufactured in 1884. This is probably a Grade 2 gun, with Damascus barrels, ejectors, and very nice engraving with game birds on the lock plates, as well as on the underside of the action. The wood has fine checkering at the wrist only, and a Parker Brothers butt plate with a dog on it. There are traces of case hardening on the lock plates. Size: 48 1/2 inches long overall with 32 inch barrels. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $65.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Discounts given on combined lot shipping.

Condition:

Very good condition overall, with a strong action, and beautiful bores. The action is a little stiff. There is a superficial crack in the wood at the wrist.
