Massive Underhammer Heavy Barreled Percussion Target Rifle
A truly massive percussion muzzle loading target rifle, with extremely heavy octagonal barrel in .52 caliber. The stock is antique Schuetzen style, with a heavy brass butt plate.It has a checkered wrist, and brass inlays at the wrist. There is no fore-stock. The action is under-hammer with the trigger guard istelf being the main spring. The rifle has had modern sights added both at the muzzle and the breech by the owner. The rifle is apparently unsigned, but is of superb manufacture.
Size: 58 inches long overall, with a 40 inch barrel.

Condition:
Excellent condition overall, with added modern sights. The bore is very good with deep rifling, although it is somewhat dirty from long storage.
