Nine Antique Books, dating from 1683 to 1941

Nine antique books from General McNarney's collection, including a volume of Longfellow, printed in London in 1869; two volumes of Hudibras, printed in London in 1799, a lengthy satirical poem by Samuel Butler; an illustrated edition of Tennyson's Poetical Works; printed in Boston in 1899; Rutherford Goodwin's Williamsburg in Virginia; printed in the United States in 1941; a three volume set of Emerson's Works, published by the Riverside Press in 1893; and Volume 2 of Burnet's The Abridgement of the History of the Reformation, printed in 1683. All of the books are at least partially calf bound. The copy of Tennyson's Works in gilt edged. Sizes: the stack is 12 1/2 inches long, 9 inches tall, and 6 inches in depth. Three of the books have detached covers, and most have some foxing. Generally the books are in good condition.
