Little Leather Library, 33 Volumes

33 small leather-bound books, all famous titles, printed by the Little Leather Library Corporation of New York, published between 1916 and 1923. Each book is bound in red leather with gold colored titles on the spines and covers. One volume is British printed volume of Shakespearean quotes in a half-size printing. The volumes include two copies of "Ballad of the Reading Gaol" by Oscar Wilde, several different volumes by Tennyson, Thoreau, Longfellow, Doyle, Stevenson, Poe, Shakespeare, Gilbert, Emerson, Kipling, George Washington, Coleridge, Hale, Abraham Lincoln, Macaulay, Turgenev, and de Maupassant. They are in a repaired cardboard box. Size: each of the Little Leather Library volumes is 3 3/4 inches tall and 3 inches wide. The British volume is smaller, being the same height but only 2 1/8 inches wide, and loose bound. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $30.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Condition:

Very good and legible. The pages are yellowed, with no foxing. The leather is dry but still flexible. The pages in the little Shakespeare volume are loose.
