Signed ‘G. Kane’ to base. Hand-coiled and traditionally fired Hopi pottery vase, signed on the base by Gloria Kahe (born 1951). The piece features intricate polychrome geometric and abstract bird motifs rendered in black, white, and red on a natural clay background. The design reflects traditional Hopi stylistic elements with fine-line and stepped patterns arranged in a harmonious symmetrical composition. The vase exhibits a tall, rounded shoulder tapering to a narrow base, consistent with classic Acoma shapes.
