German Wurtemberg Field Artillery Pre-WWI Stein, Original

Very handsome original German stein named to Kanonier Raach of the 2nd Battalion 3rd Wurtemberg Field Artillery Regiment No. 49, Ulm, for service from 1905 - 1907. The stein has many painted details along with transfers, including a wreath around a galloping gun team, a gold crown, along with many other hand-painted details. There is a scene of men loading a field gun, a picture of the City of Ulm, and men by a caisson. The handle is smooth inside, with a pewter dove at the top of the handle. The pewter lid is topped with a cannon and a gunner, and has the Wurtemberg coat of arms at the front. . The base has a lithopane of a soldier and a woman. At the base is painted, "Ultima Ratio Regis," and Pro Gloria et Patria." The base is unmarked. Size: 11 inches tall.
