Four Interesting Hand Made Knives in Sheaths

Huge and very interesting bowie style knife with a J. Russel & Co. Green River Works blade. The knife is very large, and may be old, with an iron guard, a wooden grip with brass studs in it, and four carved grooves on each side of the pommel. The blade is a classic bowie style, with long clipped point. There is a hollow ground groove on each side of the edge from the ricasso, running about two inches down the edge. The knife is in a large but incorrect sheath that fits it adequately. Size: 18 1/8 inches long overall, with a 12 1/8 inch blade. A large probably Theater made knife with stacked wood grip and brass guard, the blade being of a slightly drop point style, with the letters KAC stamped along the back of the blade near the guard. It is in a black leather hand made sheath. Size: 14 1/2 overall, with a 9 inch blade. Interesting bowie knife without a guard, possibly made from a Western bowie knife, with large blued blade, plain wooden grip with 3 brass rivets, in a hand made brown leather sheath. Size: 15 inches overall, with a 10 inch blade. Large and very interesting bowie knife made from a machete, with a wrought iron hilt with "S" shaped guard, finger cut-outs, and extension to the pommel. It is in a brown leather sheath probably cut down from the machete sheath, wth a white metal concho on the front of the sheath. Size: 17 1/4 inches long overall, with a 12 inch blade. Condition:

The first knife shows signs of age, with minor patches of pitting in spots, and is dark overall. The sheath is a moden Rambo sheath that does not fit. The second knife is very good plus, alth slightly crude. The third knife is very good plus as configured, with an excellent hand made Native American style plain sheath. The fourth knife is very crude, with the grip and guardsigns of having been welded together.
