Four Hand Made Knives with Sheaths, Possible Theater Knives

Four interesting hand made knives with sheath, all of them possibly WWII personal knives made in-theater. A very long bladed bowie knife with copper pommel and guard, the grip made is stacked leather, the blade being well-shaped, possibly made from a file, having a pronounced clipped point. The sheath is modern, black leather added to the knife at a later date than the knife's origin. Size: 14 1/2 inches long overall, with a 10 inch blade. Interesting somewhat crude bowie knife without a guard, blade with a long clipped point, the grip being two pieces of wood, possibly originally from a machete, held on by three brass rivets. Very faintly visible at the ricasso where the grip meets the blade is U.S.A., below what may be Western.In a modern made basket-weave leather sheath. Size: 13 inches long overall, with an 8 inch blade. A very interesting bowie knife with aluminum pommel and guard, with plin wooden grip, and a long diamond section bowie blade with a wicked clipped point. The wooden grip has finger ridges, and the pommel is generally shaped like a bird's head. It is in a modern basket-weave brown leather sheath. Size: 14 1/2 inches long overall, with an 8 7/8 inch blade. Very crude hand made bowie style knife with wooden grip carved for the fingers, brass guard, and crude but effective // bowie style blade. It //is in an even cruder sheath that is too short for the blade. Size": 12 1/4 inches long overall, with a 7 3/4 inch blade. The first three knives show evidence of hand work, but are very good. The fourth knife is quite crude, and has a pitted, blackened blade. The tang protrudes from the grip.
