Egyptian Stone Cat Head Statuette

Stone sculpture of the head of a cat, possibly the Egyptian goddess Bastet, mounted on a wooden stand, with a label identifying it as "Stone Cat Made in Egypt Before B.C. 700." It appears to be made of granite, and is extremely well sculpted. The wooden base is simple in design, but effective for the display of the sculpture. Size: 9 inches tall by 3 1/2 inches wide by 3 1/4 inches deep. Provenance: Estate of General Joseph McNarney. Processing and shipping in the Continental United States $30.00.plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.
