Colt Model 1878 Double-Action Revolver

A very handsome but re-blued Colt Model 1878 revolver with 7 1/2 inch barrel, serial number 39211, manufactured in 1898 probably in .44 caliber. The lanyard ring is missing. The barrel has "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER" on the side. Size: 13 1/4 inches long overall with a 7 1/2 inch barrel. Shipping: $50.00.

Condition:

Very good. The gun is re-blued over wear and some minor pitting. There is a chip missing from the grip on the left side. The caliber markings are no longer visible.The action is excellent and locks up tight.The bore is good with slight wear to the rifling.
