Charles Valton Chained Mastiff Sculpture
A very fine cold painted bronze sculpture of a mastiff chained to a fence, with his front feet on an overturned bucket. He is extremely well sculpted and is signed by the sculptor, Charles Valton. Valton was a respected French sculptor who sculpted a variety of animals, especially dogs, around 1890. Size: 9 3/4 inches tall by 8 inches long.
