Basaka Tribal Iron Wood Carving

A large carving in ironwood, by a local artisan of the Basaka region of central Ethiopia. The carving has three masks on it with a snake surrounding them. Size: 22 by 34 by 1 inches, and quite heavy. Provenance: Estate of General Joseph McNarney. Processing and shipping in the Continental United States is $55.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.

Condition:

Condition is fair. The carving is missing the upper right hand corner, and there is a hole in the right hand center. The central mask has a hole in its left eye. The edges are rough.
