Antique Miniature Salesman Small Chest Of Drawers

Miniature, possibly salesman's sample, early block front chest of drawers in satinwood, with bronze fittings. This is a superb piece of craftsmanship, with elegantly shaped front, in figured wood, with ebonized black inlaid line decoration. The chest has three drawers, all dovetailed construction. This is either early 19th century or 18th century. Size: 11 5/8 inches tall, 10 1/2 inches wide, and 8 1/4 inches deep. Provenance: Estate of General Joseph McNarney. Processing and shipping in the Continental United States $45.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.

The chest is in excellent condition overall. There is very slight water damage on the right hand side.
