WW1 Military Archive of Archie Henry Strassman. This group combines WW1 and WW2/ Korea items. The primary items of the group are the WW1 items of Archie Henry Strassman. These consist of his ww1 overseas cap, a VFW overseas cap (attached to this is his ww1 victory medal with defensive sector bar), and finally 24 photos. These 24 photos are an excellent look at an american experience in WW1. There is a standing portrait of him (in this you can see he wears engineer disks), photos of his buddies, pows, graves, and many photos of the terrible destruction of towns along the western front. As for the later items. There is a pair of inert 50 cal rounds, a belt with artillery insignia, a pair of collar disks (US and cross cannons), and 3 distinct unit insignia from the 251st Air defense artillery regiment.
