William Henry Jackson (1843-1942) was an American landscape photographer of the American West. He was a Civil War veteran of the 9th Vermont Volunteer Infantry who served at Gettysburg, who traveled to the West following the War, leading several expeditions west where he photographed Mesa Verde, and Pueblo and other Arizona and New Mexico Indians for the first time, became the first photographer of Yellowstone, and eventually the official photographer for the US Department of the Interior's first Geographical Survey of the West in 1872. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $35 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.
