Victory in Europe Cased Commemorative Fairbairn-Skyes Commando Dagger
A presentation style Fairbairn-Skyes Commando Dagger made by Wilkinson Sword in London for the American Historical Foundation to commemorate VE Day, May 8th, 1945. The blade is acid etched in gold with quote, "Mission Fullfilled," by General Dwight D. Eisenhower on one side and "In Honor of World War II Victory in Europe 8 May 1945" on the other side. The grip is polished wood, and the cross guard and pommel are gold plated steel. The knife is in a black velvet fitted case with the same information on the inside lid, along with "Limited Edition." Comes with wooden mantel display.
Dimensions: 12-inches overall, 7-inches blade. Case is 15-inches long. Wooden mantel display is 3H X 11L X 3W inches.
