Designed by Carolyn Moorhead Edmundson (1906-1992) signed: "Edmundson" lower right of art field.

The poster encourages interested women to seek more info and provides contact info. The Cadet Nurse Corps was created in 1943 by the U.S. Public Health Service as a wartime scholarship program to recruit women to alleviate the great shortage of trained nurses that comes with war. It graduated 124,000 nurses by its end in 1948.

Creases from being folded in quarters. Light water stain on back, i say light because its not noticeable on the front. poster in over all crisp clean condition aside from the noted issues. corners still sharp.
