Two US Combat Knives, WWI & WWII

A very handsome U.S. Model 1917 Trench Bolo in its original sheath, stamped Plumb, Phila., U.S.A. and U.S. Mod. 1917 on the ricasso. The grips have been replaced with extremely nice stag grips with brass rivets. The sheath is extremely nice, although it is missing the leather at the tip of the sheath. Size: 15 inches long overall, with a 10 1/8 inch blade. Cattaragus US WWII Fighting Knife in brown leather sheath. The grip is stacked leather, and the mounts are steel. The sheath is a fine leather one, but is not the original military sheath. Size: 10 1/2 inches long overall, with a 6 inch blade. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $30.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Discounts given on combined lot shipping.

Condition:

The Trench Bolo is excellent, with replaced grips. The stampings are very clear. The blade may have been re-blued. The sheath is missing the leather covering at the tip, but the wood and interior stitching are intact and in very good plus condition.

The Cattaragus is pitted overall on the blade, with some red rust. The leather is dry. The sheath is not military.
