Two Large English Bargeware Teapots
Two large and colorful English Barge ware or Measham ware teapots of unusual and imaginative design, both with small teapots on top of their lids. They are both brown, the larger one having peacocks and flowers on it, as well as a large "God Bless Our Home." The smaller teapot, which is still quite large, is decorated with flowers, and has a plaque on the side saying, "A Present To Cousin Lizzie 1899." The styles are identical, although the decoration is different. The smaller pot is 11 1/2 inches tall and 11 inches wide.The large pot is 16 inches tall by 15 1/4 wide.
