Two German Porcelain Equestrian Figurines, One of Marshall Davout

Two old German porcelain figures of men on horseback, one being French Marshall Davout, the other being a huntsman with slung rifle, possibly military. The Davout figure has "Davoust" on its base and depicts the Marshal tipping his hat, wearing his Marshall's uniform. The face is an excellent likeness. The base of the figure is marked, "Germany," There is an additional mark that might be Meissen. The second figure is of an 18th century huntsman on a rearing horse. He is in tall boots, a tricorn hat, a grey military style coat, and with a rifle slung over his back. This figure also has a mark on its base that might be Meissen. Size: Davout is 11 inches tall, 8 3/4 inches wide, and 3 inches deep. The huntsman is 9 1/2 inches tall, 8 inches wide, and 3 inches deep. Provenance: Estate of General Joseph McNarney. Processing and shipping in the Continental United States is $45.00 plus 1.5% replacement insurance cost.
