Two First Edition Books "The Wayward Bus" and "As He Saw It"

A cloth bound first edition of John Steinbeck's The Wayward Bus, published in 1947 by the Viking Press, printed by The Haddon Craftsman. No dust jacket, with the bookplate of the Fred Harrolds. Sold originally by Levinson's The Book Store in Sacramento. Size: 8 1/8 inches tall by 5 1/2 inches wide and 1 1/8 inches thick. Cloth bound fist edition of Elliott Roosevelt's As He Saw It, with a foreword by Eleanor Roosevelt, published by Duell, Sloan and Pearce in 1946. This also has the Fred Harrold bookplate, and the stamp of Levinson's The Book Store, Sacramento. No dust jacket. Size: 8 5/8 inches tall by 5 3/4 inches wide, and 1 inch thick. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $30.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Discounts given on combined lot shipping.

Condition:

Both volumes are in near excellent condition without dust jackets. There is the very slightest yellowing to the outsides of the pages, but the original covers are still strong, and the interior pages are excellent.
