Two Exceptional Stag Gripped Large Knives
Scorpion large, stag handled, custom made knife and sheath, with a straight, double edged blade, with bone cracking serrations along the bacl of the blade. The knife has no guard, and is in the style of an 18th century or earlier dirk, with a very handsome brown leather sheath. Size: 17 inches long overall, with a 9 3/4 inch blade.
Large, stag gripped bowie knife with an mint blade marked Newland just below the guard. Mike Newland is a well-regarded knife maker, and this appears to be similar to but larger than his "Crown Stag Hunter" knife. The knife has a typical bowie blade in satin finished steel, with a 3 inch saw back just below the ricasso, and a hollow ground edge. The guard is steel, and the grip is stag, with a ferrule made of three layers of dark wood. The knife is in a black leather sheath. Size: 17 inches long, with a 10 inch blade.
Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $35.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Discounts given on combined lot shipping.
