Two Brass Gripped Argentine Mauser Bayonets & Sheaths, Solingen

Two very fine Solingen made and marked 1891 Argentine Mouser sword bayonets in steel sheaths, both with matching serial numbers between blades and sheaths. The grips are brass, r=the pommels and guards are steel. The blade is long, single fullered and straight. Both have partially ground Argentine marks, but intact Solingen stamps. One has matching serial numbers R1487, and the other T2855. Size: The bayonet in sheath is 21 inches overall. The bayonet itself is 20 1/2 inches with 15 3/4 inch blades. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $35.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Discounts given on combined lot shipping.

Both are very good plus, with the Argentine markings partially ground off, but also partially visible. The other markings are excellent. Both blades have been somewhat clumsily sharpened. The sheaths both have minor dents and wear.
