Two (2) Older Bowie Knives

Two older bowie knives: A BGIC of Bridgeport, Connecticut 119th century bowie knife with checkered black gutta percha grips and its original brown leather sheath (12-inches overall with an 8-inch blade). The second knife is a spear-point bowie with horn grips and a long brass cross guard. The blade was plated at some point, but the plating is worn. It is in a modern leather sheath (12.75-inches overall with a 7.75-inch blade). Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $30.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Discounts given on combined lot shipping.

Condition:

Great. The BGIC has a very slightly rounded point. The belt strap is broken and missing on the sheath. The second knife has plating on its blade that is worn in patches and dark where it has worn through. Please see photos.
