Two (2) Mint Case and Western Bowie Knives

Two mint variations on the same basis design, one by W.R. Case, the other by Western Cutlery, both made in the U.S.A., both mint in the original boxes: The Case knife is a special Case Tested XX bowie knife, with a portrait of the firm's founder on the blade. It is stamped CASE XX U.S.A. BOWIE on the ricasso, and has CASE TESTED XX etched around the portrait of W.R. Case. It has a polished brass cross guard, and black plastic grip with brass rivets, along with its high grade leather sheath, in a flocked plastic holder in its excellent original box (14.25-inches long overall, with a 9.5-inch blade. The box is 15.25 by 9.25-inches). A Houston Gun Collectors 1950-1996 specially made commemorative Western Cutlery of Boulder, Colorado classic bowie knife and sheath, mint in its original box. The box also contains an original catalog for that year (14.5-inches long overall, with a 9.5-inch blade). Condition:

Fairly Great. The Western bowie is about mint, but some verdigris has formed on some of the brass on the sheath and rivets on the grip. Please see photos.
