Three Pocket Knives Belonging to General McNarney

Three pocket knives that belonged to General McNarney: a Cattaraugus two-blade folding knife with stag scales. and nickel bolsters. The blades have been polished and sharpened, and are quite sharp. A US Army 1966 dated Camillus pocket knife with stainless steel scales stamped "US," and a large stainless steel lanyard ring, used and sharpened. A German style "butterfly" knife with brass outside and a stipple-engraved and blued blade, unmarked. Size: The Cattaraugus is 3 3/8 inches long when closed, with a 2 1/8 inch blade and a 2 1/4 inch blade; the Camillus knife is 3 3/4 inches long closed, with a 2 7/8 inch blade; the butterfly knife is 3 3/4 inches closed, and has a 3 5/8 inch blade. Provenance: Estate of General Joseph McNarney. Processing and shipping in the Continental United States is $30.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.

Condition:

The two American made knives have been used and sharpened. The Cattaugus knife shows extensive wear, but the outside is excellent. The Camillus knife has been used, and the spring that holds the blades tight is loose, such that the point of the knife blade protrudes. The butterfly knife has traces of old oil on it, but is excellent.
