Condition:Please see photograph of the original description sheet from Argonaut bookshop in San Francisco. Originally listed by the bookshop for $1500. This is a first American edition with later print covers. Illustrated throughout with pictures of their ships, penguins, and Antarctica landscape. Listed by the bookshop as Fine. Due to some light discoloration of the front boards I place this set as Very Good to Fine. Maps and pictures/Illustrations are excellent. Rare to find in this condition with included maps.
