Ten (10) Antique Straight Razors in Original Cases

Ten antique straight razors in their original cases or boxes: Chinese American Mercantile Co. Inc.San Francisco straight razor in black cardboard box, with Chinese characters on one side and English on the other. The razor is stamped John Rothschild & Co. San Francisco, and JOROCO X. It has a beige celluloid handle and appears unused. California Tool & Cutlery Co. straight razor in original cardboard box, marked Pippin and Bauer MFG. Co., San Francisco. Made in Germany. The razor has a beige gutta percha handle and appears unused. RAN-TAN-KA-RUS Little Red Devil straight razor in its original box. The razor has a black horn handle with a red devil outlined on the grip. The blade is etched Extra Hollow Ground, Fully Warranted. Joh. Engstrom Made in Sweden appears on the tang, along with RAN-TAN-KA-RUS and Red Devil. Shows minor use. W.H. Morley & Sons Warranted Razor, Price $3.50 each with a large four-leafed clover and Germany on the box straight razor, The razor has Native American motifs on the celluloid handle and Clauss, Fremont C. U.S.A. on the tang. There is a missing spacer inside the handle, so the razor turns all the way around. J.A. Jordan East India Works Made in England box with straight razor. The razor does not match the box, being by Bowding Wedge, with a celluloid grip, and marked Hand Made. A. Field & Co. straight razor in box, with A Field & Co. Germany on tang and acid etched blade with A.F.Co on the blade. The razor has a black horn handle. George Wostenholm & Sons razor box with Real IXL Razor on it, containing a Cattaraugus straight razor with green marbled celluloid handle and Cattaraugus Cutler on the tang. Wade & Butcher Straight Razor coffin shaped box, with horn handled razor with "The Original & Only Bow Razor Manufactured Solely By Wade & Butcher, Sheffield, England," etched on the blade, and an archery bow stamped on the tang. A.J. Jordan East India Works straight razor in its original matching box. The razor has a horn handle, and the blade is etched "The Westminster AAA1." The tang is stamped A.J. Jordan Sheffield, England. Plastic boxed straight razor by George Wostenholm & Sons, with that etched on the blade with Pipe Works, and a clay pipe emblem etched on the blade over Granted A.D. 1694 Original Pipe Razor. There is a clay pipe stamped on the tang. Dimensions: All the straight razors are similar in size, being about 6.5-inches long when closed with blades that are about 3-inches long. Good. Scattered wear across each. The boxes have all seen wear and are faded, but intact. One razor has some pitting, but several are about excellent plus. One razor is missing a spacer from between the handles. Please see photos.
