Staffordshire Platter Strainer "View of Capital"

Fine blue straining platter. It features an attractive rendering of an early 19th century scene of a fine palladian building with a man and a woman wearing tricorns on horseback in the foreground. It is an elongated oval in shape. The only mark on the underside is a small stamp, resembling those used by Wedgwood. Size: 15 1/2 inches wide by 11 1/2 inches tall. It is 3/4 of an inch in height. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $35.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Discounts given on combined lot shipping.
