Six Antique Straight Razors Made in Sheffield, England

Six fine antique straight razors, each made by a Sheffield, England maker. Wade & Butcher straight razor with horn scales in a partial box. The razor is post-1882, as it is marked Sheffield England. The markings on the tang are worn, but largely sharp and clear, with a clear Maltese Cross.. Size: 7 inches closed, with a 3 1/8 inch blade. Wade & Butcher straight rzor with black scales, probably gutta percha. The razor has extremely clear markings: Manufactured by Wade & Butcher Sheffield, England, with a Maltese Cross.. Size: +6 1/2 inches closed, with a 3 inch blade. Early Wade & Butcher straight razor with horn scales. The blade is etched with an American Eagle over British and American shields, and British and American flags, with "Commerce Freedom & Strength United."The markings are very nice: Wade & Butcher, Sheffield, with an arrow and Maltese Cross. Size: 6 1/2 inches long with a 3 inch blade. Wade & Butcher straight razor with black horn scales, "Manufactured by Wade & Butcher Sheffield, England" and an arrow and Maltese Cross on the tang, with a hollow ground blade etched with "The Celebrated Extra Hollow Ground Razor." Size: 6 1/2 inches long with a 3 1/4 inch blade. Fox Bros. Manufacturers Sheffield early straight razor with etched blade reading "The British Hollow Ground Razor, Never Requires Grinding." It has black horn grips. Size: 6 1/2 inches with a 3 inch blade. Joseph Rodgers & Sons, Cutlers To Their Majesties, No. 5 Norfolk Street, Sheffield early straight razor, with white celluloid or bone scales. Size: 6 inches long with 3 inch blade.
