Incredible Hand Written journal/book manuscript from 1842. The author, Charles Piesse, whose bookplate is attached to the front cover, accounts a full trip of Ireland in 162 full pages. His first-hand account includes but is not limited to: Irish pubs, hotels, Irish songs, fiddlers, multiple accounts of castles, village schools, cabins, a ghost sighting, food, agriculture, the Irish countryside, Dublin, and more. This is a one-off hand written journal bound like a book. An incredible first hand historical account.
