Schintz and Will & Finck Cutlery Items

A cased Will & Finck straight razor, marked “Golden Gate,” and “Made in Germany for Will & Finck, S.F.” The razor has a black thermos plastic handle and is hollow ground. The case is cardboard, and has “Will & Finck Co. San Francisco, Finck’s California Razor, Made in Germany” embossed into it. A Will & Finck patented skewer puller, with white celluloid handle, a silver plated finial, and movable jaws with pointed teeth. It is marked on the metal, “Pat’d Oct. 20th 1877,” and “Will & Finck, San Francisco.” The third item is a lime squeezer of polished hardwood, with a heavy silver plate hinge, with cut-outs in the wood to allow the juice to flow. It is marked on the hinge, “J.H. Schintz, San Francisco.” Size: The razor in its case is 6 ½ by 1 by 3/8 inches. The razor is 9 ¾ inches long when opened, with a 4 3/8 inch long blade. The skewer puller is 7 ½ inches long. The lime squeezer is 9 ¾ inches long when closed, and 19 ½ inches long when fully opened. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $50.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.

Condition: All three items are excellent or better. The razor is about mint, with minor wear and fading to the cardboard case. The skewer puller is excellent, with minor tarnish to the silver finish and a small surface crack to the celluloid handle. The lime squeezer is excellent, with tarnish on the hinge.
